PARS understands the importance of effective marketing. Reprints can be customized
to maximize the marketing potential for your particular target audience. That's why we discuss every
element of reprint design with you to make sure you receive the best possible finished product.
From layout and design, to color and paper stock, Boston Globe reprints can be tailored to fit whatever use you
have designated for them. See the examples below.

|
Colorization
Whether the original editorial coverage was published in black and white or in full color, PARS lets you choose from
one color to six, including metallics and neons. The effective use of color can send a powerful message to the reader.
PARS can even incorporate your company color into the design of the reprint so that your message will have an even
greater impact. Let PARS help you decide what best suits your needs.
|
|
Full color
More than anything else, the use of color has the strongest visual impact. If the original article includes
full color photographs and graphics, a full color reprint is the best means of reproducing the article in a
way that is as visually pleasing as it was in the original publication. Full color design enables you to make the
best use of the various customization options available to you.

|
Two-color
Use of a second color can turn an ordinary black and white article into an extraordinary reprint. Two-color is
generally defined as black and a second color. In addition to using the second color to print text,
a second color is great for highlighting and shading.
|
|
Black and White
An alternative to color reprints, black and white reprints are another available option. Although black and white
reprints can also be customized, it is advised that articles originally published in full color be reprinted
in full color for maximum impact.

|
Paper Stock
PARS chooses superior quality paper for its finished product. As a standard, reprints are printed on high-quality,
white, 80 lb. gloss stock. (As a point of reference, 80 lb. stock is comparable to the weight of the paper used
on the cover of most magazines.) Other paper weights are also available. Your PARS representative will suggest the
paper stock best suited for how you plan to use your reprints.
